The Waiting

In 'The Waiting,' within the boundless desert, the horizon merges sand and sky. A colossal ship sails through a sea of sand, halted by its very essence. A smaller vessel approaches, embodying time's ceaseless motion. In the desert's heart, a solitary figure stands, resilience amidst time's vastness. A glass sphere in the foreground holds a woman, gazing toward the horizon, her back to us. Beside her, a leafless tree, a symbol of life's cycles. 'The Waiting' captures time as both friend and foe, offering solitude and challenge in a timeless tableau.

The Journey

In this piece, I pay homage to Armenia, the place where my journey began. This artwork unfolds across a vast desert, with a small reflective lake to the right, mirroring the rugged rocky mountains that stand tall behind it. From within these mountains, glasses emerge, symbolizing a thirst for new experiences. In the distance, the iconic Mount Ararat graces the scene, viewed from Armenia's perspective. In the foreground, a solitary figure walks towards the imposing mountains, their back turned to the viewer. This artwork is a tribute to my beginnings, where the desert signifies the uncharted path I embarked upon, the rocky mountains symbolize the challenges I faced, and the emerging glasses reflect my unquenchable thirst for new horizons.
